PERENNIALS: DEER RESISTANT

No plant is 100 percent deer resistant, but some are less favored than others.  The list of plants avoided by deer varies not only be region, but also by season  During hard winters deer are usually hungry enough to try anything.  Typically they sample everything available and return for the plants they like best. Fencing is the best defense against deer.  Consider a sing, very tall fence (7-8 ft.) or a pair of feces 4-5 ft. apart.
